Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid – Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid is a low molecular weight version, chemically broken down from the naturally large molecule of the current go-to moisturizer, hyaluronic acid (HA). It is made up of three different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid particles, which, depending on the molecule size, are able to penetrate different layers of the skin and do effective work in it:

100–300 kDa HA – this particle size not only moisturizes but can also help the skin restore itself, as it increases its self-defense against external factors. It is also said to accelerate the wound healing process and is especially beneficial for sensitive skin types (acne, rosacea, inflammation-related skin conditions).;

20-50 kDa HA molecules improve and strengthen the biomechanical properties of the skin; it is claimed that particles of this size can absorb into the skin and reduce wrinkles, so it is most commonly used as an "anti-aging ingredient".;

5-20 kDa HA molecules rejuvenate the skin from within. They penetrate the skin very well, have a unique penetration and provide deep and long-lasting hydration. According to Evonik studies, it acts as an anti-inflammatory molecule.

Sodium Hyaluronate – The sodium hyaluronate molecule is 100% natural and biomimetic, and is recognized as the most effective natural moisturizing agent. When applied topically, it attracts moisture to the skin cells. This reduces dryness and flaking and increases skin hydration. When applied to the epidermis, hyaluronic acid forms a non-occlusive film and regulates water loss. This hyaluronic acid film also protects the skin from external aggressions that can alter the natural lipid barrier, causing the stratum corneum to peel. Dehydrated skin makes fine lines and wrinkles more noticeable. Using a serum containing Sodium Hyaluronate, wrinkles become less noticeable and less pronounced, as the skin fills with moisture and becomes firmer and more elastic.

Niacinamide – Niacinamide (NIA), also known as nicotinamide, is a hydrophilic amide of vitamin B3 that is an important component of various cosmetic products and medicines. Niacinamide has positive effects on the skin:

As the skin ages, topical use of niacinamide improves the surface structure, smooths wrinkles and inhibits photocarcinogenesis.
